About Online Courses
Online courses are self-paced containers in the learning hierarchy: Curriculum → Pathway → Course → Module → Lesson → Topic → Quiz. They hold welcome content and appear on curriculum pathways; modules, lessons, and quizzes are linked in the pathway tree—not as WordPress child posts.
What you can configure
- Course description and welcome content in the block editor
- Optional Learning Templates LXP Form block for intake or acknowledgments
- LEARNING_TEMPLATES_LXP categories and tags in the editor sidebar
- Placement in the curriculum pathway tree under a pathway root
For live virtual or classroom sessions, use Instructor-led courses instead of online courses.
